91 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This high-toned blanc de blancs features white cherry, pastry and mandarin orange peel flavors that show floral and spice accents. This is well-meshed and racy, with a finely detailed mousse. Disgorged December 2016. Drink now through 2021. 190 cases imported." — AN (Nov 15, 2017)
90 Points - Decanter:
"This 100% Chardonnay from 40-year-old vines on premier cru vineyards displays finesse and elegance rarely found at this price level. Lemony intensity combined with fresh apples and a creamy mouthfeel. Easily one of the best-value Champagnes there is." - CG
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Toasted almond and caramel apple scents in Veuve Fourny’s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs L20062 set the stage for a confectionary palate impression nicely balanced by fresh juiciness of apple and Persian melon. Finely polished and subtly sustained, this isn’t especially emphatic in flavor or possessed of noticeable mineral dimensions, but is still bound to offer soothing satisfaction over the coming year." - (29th Nov 2013)
Vinous:
"The NV Blanc de Blancs Brut Premier Cru is laced with green apple, pear, mint, jasmine, sage and citrus peel, all of which lend brightness to this finely cut, chiseled Champagne from Veuve Fourny. In the glass, the Premier Cru is ethereal and translucent, but also just a bit vegetal. The Pureté is a blend of three vintages, with 20% reserve wines, done 75% in tank and 25% in oak. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. L 26 1010 " - Antonio Galloni (Dec 2019)
